Daniel Pop, născut în 1976, este fondator al grupului artistic Firekultur (înființat în 2016) și designer specializat în mobilier și instalații ambientale din ceramică. Combinând diverse abilități el creează obiecte la granița dintre artă, design și arhitectură. În anul 2000 devine licențiat al sectiei Patrimoniu Cultural din cadrul Facultății de Teologie Ortodoxa, Iași cu specializarea restaurare lemn policrom. Timp de câțiva ani, explorează desenul tehnic, proiectarea CAD și programarea CNC. In 2007 se stabilește în Londra unde excelează în restaurare, printre ultimile sale proiecte fiind decorarea și recondiționarea elementelor arhitecturale din lemn ale clădirii The Wardrobe și The Trumpets din cadrul ansamblului castelului Richmond Palace, construit în timpul dinastiei Tudorilor. Pasionat de studiul și chimia materialelor și de estetica suprafetelor și a formelor din domeniul artistic și acumulând experiență prin participarea la proiecte vaste atât în țară, cât și în străinătate, in 2012, decide să își aprofundeze cunoștințele în domeniul sculpturii prin intermediul masteratului la Facultatea de Arte Vizuale și Design, Universitatii Naționale de Arte “George Enescu” Iasi. Această direcție academică l-a condus către descoperirea ceramicii ca o nouă modalitate de a-și exprima creativitatea personală.
